INTROCUTION
In 2022, national courts in individual EU Member States and in Australia, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United Kingdom (UK) delivered a series of important rulings in the copyright field. This contribution provides a round-up of the most significant judgments issued in the period of 1 January to 31 December 2022. As far as decisions in EU Member States are concerned, the selection gave precedence but was not necessarily limited to areas in respect of which EU harmonization has occurred, so that guidance provided by national courts in a certain country might also be useful to practitioners and courts in other EU Member States …
