ABSTRACT
Immediately following the pandemic of 2020, mediated disputes were postponed or canceled until mediators began to learn the techniques of remote work with virtual meeting tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, GoogleMeets, WebEx, GoToMeeting and others. Like many forms of remote work, online dispute resolution (ODR) grew exponentially in the wake of Covid-19. This journal has promoted, illustrated and educated ODR users in the principles and techniques of online dispute resolution long before the pandemic. Is justice being served? When measured by universal notions of justice, has ODR realized its potential? What more must be accomplished for ODR to become an access to justice tool trusted globally? This chapter will attempt to address these issues.
