Conference: Private Law and the Basic Structure of Society: Amsterdam, 31 January 2014

“The conference ‘Private Law and the Basic Structure of Society’ aims to bring the private law theory and political philosophy discourses closer together and in doing so, help deepen the understanding of the relationship between social justice and private law. The conference is organized by the Centre of the Study of European Contract law of the Law Faculty of the University of Amsterdam and will be held on 31 January 2014. The field of private law theory is rapidly developing. More and more scholars are concerned with questions of social justice in private law and the legitimization thereof.
