ABSTRACT
This article discusses the scope of Law of Property Act 1925, section 53(1)(c). In particular, it considers whether the word ‘disposition’ there includes the surrender of an equitable interest; and how far a vendor-purchaser constructive trust is capable of overriding the provision’s effects.
