The Tort Law & Social Equality Project is led by Professors Sophia Moreau (University of Toronto Law), Zoë Sinel (Western Law) and Jean Thomas (Queen’s Law). It aims to bring together academics, lawyers and judges from across Canada – and beyond – to think about ways in which tort law either perpetuates existing social inequalities or can be used creatively to combat such inequalities.
