ABSTRACT
In today’s world, it is common to hear about individuals investing in multiple counties and businesses involved with cross-border transactions, and it is imperative that these businesses and stakeholders understand their global exposure and create a plan that maximises the benefit of this globally, while reducing costs, confusion, and stress. With the world becoming smaller because of this, more and more clients find themselves in a place, some without even realising it, where more advanced Multi-jurisdictional Planning and structuring is needed. It is not as easy as it sounds – first you will have to identify how to go about it, then where to start, in which countries to do it, and what structures to use.
