The St John’s Intellectual Property Law Center, in collaboration with the St John’s Law Review, is pleased to announce its upcoming Symposium: Values, Questions, and Methods in Intellectual Property. The Symposium will bring together diverse viewpoints on questions of means and ends in IP research: What do we think IP law is for, and how would we know (or find out) if it were achieving the ends we set for it? This one-day event will be devoted to finding areas of consensus, sharpening disagreements, and identifying research targets and appropriate methodologies for pursuing these targets at a time when the discipline seems to be in a particularly introspective mood … (more)
